Stewardship & giving

"Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." - 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (NIV)

In sending His one and only Son to die for the world's sins, the God of the Scriptures demonstrates a generosity beyond compare. The Bible calls it "an indescribable gift!" (See 2 Corinthians 9:15). God gave us His best - the life of His only Son so that we who were caught in the clutches of sin could be forgiven and set free (See Romans 5:8).

How are we to respond to such a generous God? We can respond through the generous giving of our time, talent and resources to God.

In giving of our financial resources, the Scriptures call us to giving that is regular, consistent, cheerful and sacrificial.

As we give our best to God, we are promised His best for us: "And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." - 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV)

Together, let us answer His call to be faithful with everything entrusted to us!

"Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful." - 1 Corinthians 4:2 (NIV)

Giving options

An offering plate is passed during our normal services.  Giving envelopes are available in the pocket on the back side of the chairs in the Sanctuary.

Customized envelopes are available through the church office for those who find that most convenient or wish to emphasize in their own lives the tie between giving and worship.

Automatic withdrawals/Bill Pay is another good option. You can often do this from your online banking interface.  Most of the time this is a free service offered by banks.

Online giving

If you'd like to make a donation to the church online, you can do so here.  You can even schedule weekly or monthly gifts!
